  • While investigating a trouble ticket, create a temporary page to write notes about it by putting the OTRS# in double square brackets followed by a description.
    For example: [[2019011510000032]] unable to create account
    • In the page, put a link to the OTRS ticket in single square brackets.
    • in the trouble ticket put a link back to this page [https://wiki.popdata.bc.ca/popdata/Trouble back to wiki]
    • When the investigation is complete, copy the relevant notes to the ticket, then you can delete the temporary page and remove it from the list.
  • You can use this for other temporary notes too.
